Main Street America Insurance is proud to celebrate independent agents nationwide who are making a powerful impact in their communities through dedication, leadership and service. Today, the company announced the recipients of its third annual Community Impact Award, recognizing three agencies from across the country whose actions and commitment have supported those most in need in their local areas.

For 2025, the winners are Chapman Insurance Group of Florida, Abbate Insurance Agency of Connecticut, and Leavitt Great West agency of Montana. Each will receive $1,500 to be donated to the nonprofit of their choosing.

“Our agency partners see firsthand the challenges in their communities, and their dedication gives us hope for what we can accomplish together,” said Richard Vaughn, head of sales at Main Street America Insurance. “These awards celebrate not just their achievements, but the spirit of partnership and possibility that drives us all to do good. Together, we’re building stronger communities and a brighter future.”

Chapman Insurance Group is being honored for their exceptional dedication to southwest Florida, contributing hundreds of volunteer hours, supporting local nonprofits and organizing impactful community events. The team’s advocacy, education initiatives and hands-on support have made a lasting difference for families and residents across the region.

Abbate Insurance Agency is recognized for their sustained commitment to helping individuals transition out of homelessness and crisis situations in the greater New Haven area. Through Linens of Love Inc., Abbate has provided essential bedding and supplies to those moving into permanent housing, building partnerships with local organizations and making a meaningful impact on vulnerable community members.

Leavitt Great West Agency is celebrated for their dedicated support of communities throughout Montana. In 2025, the agency’s offices organized suicide awareness events, sponsored youth sports and agricultural programs, and volunteered at local organizations. Their financial contributions, volunteerism and board service have made a significant difference in the lives of youth, families and veterans.

To be considered, nominees must have participated in initiatives, projects or programs that positively impact their community. This involvement can include but is not limited to donating, fundraising, volunteering, hosting events and implementing innovative solutions to identified challenges.
